NIKĒ

NĪ·KĒ
Interpunct separating syllables

Three challenges to solve simultaneously: differentiate from the sportswear brand, establish Greek authenticity, and signal luxury. The diacritic marks do double duty — they cue the correct Greek pronunciation (NEE-keh) while visually separating this brand from any athletic association. The goddess is the anchor. Below are four directions to react to.

Refined Letterform
A single word does all the work. Thin-weight classical serif — Cormorant, Didot, or a custom drawn variant. The accents on Í and Ē are the logo’s signature mark. No icon needed. The word itself becomes the goddess.

Monogram + Wordmark
A circular seal — ancient coin, wax stamp, amphora mark — containing an N with subtle wing strokes radiating outward. Pairs with the full wordmark for labels; stands alone as a brand mark on packaging closures and wax seals.

Direction 03

NÍKĒ
νίκη · Victory · Peloponnese · Greece

Greek Script Echo
The brand name in Roman letters, with the Greek transliteration (νίκη) running beneath as a subtitle line — small, secondary, but present. Grounds the Latin spelling in its true origin. The double identity is the concept: you see the English, you feel the Greek.

Goddess as Logomark
A line-drawn Nike — winged, haloed, holding an olive branch — sits to the left of the wordmark. Deliberately sketch-like: not polished illustration but gestural, ancient-fresco quality. She is the brand. The oil is her offering.
